How can I get a back issue of Simply Knitting?

You can see all the issues our back issues department has in stock on the My Favourite Magazines website. They keep six months' worth of issues in stock.

If the issue you are looking for is older than that, you could try placing a free reader ad on our letters page asking if anyone has that issue and no longer wants it. Email us at simplyknitting@futurenet.com and put 'Reader ad' in the email header. We run reader ads in the order we receive them, so there will probably be a delay of a couple of issues between when you send your advert in and when it appears.

How can I get an old Alan Dart pattern?

Alan has made some of his older designs available to purchase as downloadable PDFs from his website.

Patterns for licensed characters such as Shaun the Sheep or Muffin the Mule will not be available as the characters are owned by other companies, not by Alan or Simply Knitting. You could try placing a free reader ad on our letters page asking if anyone has that issue and no longer wants it. Email us at simplyknitting@futurenet.com and put 'Reader ad' in the email header.

My subscription copy is late, where is it?

My subscription copy arrived damaged, can you replace it?

The gift with my subscription copy is faulty, can you replace it?

All enquiries relating to subscriptions need to be sent to the subscriptions team. Email them at simplyknitting@myfavouritemagazines.co.uk or call them on 0844 848 2852. If you know your subscriber number (it's on the sheet of paper you get with your magazine), that will help them find your details more quickly.

I don't want to shop online. Can you give me a phone number for a shop?

Where we have telephone numbers for businesses, we print them. However, some small businesses do not accept phone calls, and in those cases we do not print and cannot provide a number.
