Advertiser news – The Little Wool Company is in the pink

Ruth Strickley tells us how The Little Wool Company is marking Breast Cancer Awareness Month with their bright pink bags!

The Little Wool Co pink bags

At The Little Wool Company we think Breast Cancer Awareness month is a great way to raise awareness. To show our support, all our knitting kits now come in bright pink handmade cotton bags.  They made their debut at the recent Creative Stitches show in Exeter, and caused quite a stir. Some people even wanted to buy just the bags without the kits, which wasn't the idea at all!

Julie from A Woolly Tail introduces three new yarns from local yarn supplier Stylecraft: Astrakhan, Aviemore and TrendSetter.

A Woolly Tail is proud to have such a great relationship with all of its suppliers and believes strongly in supporting local business. Running a small family business myself, it’s important to me to solely deal with suppliers on our doorstep. This means we are  able to offer a wide range of yarns at extremely competitive prices from some of the best suppliers in West Yorkshire. A Woolly Tail is a company that truly believes in its motto – yarns sourced from the Heart of Yorkshire!

My earliest memory of knitting is of being aged about seven years old and my mum trying to teach me and my sister how to knit. I think I managed about six rows before running back outside to carry on kicking my ball against the garage door!
