The Little Knitting Company are hosting a special ‘Crafty Event’ day for lovers of knitting to get together, and at the same time, raise some money for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity
From 11am – 4pm on Saturday 12 November, The Horse & Jockey in Stanford in the Vale (between Oxford and Swindon) will be taken over by knitters getting together to brush up on their skills and exchange expert tips and advice, within the warm and friendly atmosphere of this cosy pub.
“As well as an Aladdin’s cave full of beautifully textured wools and yarns, knitting kits and accessories, we will be holding a number of mini surgeries, offering problem solving advice through the day,” say Ruth Chester, who runs the Little Knitting Company. “And for those who like to try something new, there’s a chance to try spinning and weaving too.”
The event is free to attend, but Little Knitting Company is inviting everyone that comes along to make a small donation to the Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity.
