You may recall us getting a bit batty about Fiona Goble’s fabulous knitted royal wedding last year. This year, Fiona has teamed up with online knitting superstore Deramores to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee with the release of an exclusive FREE knitting pattern, courtesy of Ivy Press (the pic credit belongs to Ivy Press too).

We love her sequin shoe buckles, matching handbag and fabulous hair do - she's definitely ready for the party!

Following the immense success of ìKnit Your Own Royal Wedding’ (complete with corgis and an Archbishop of Canterbury!), Fiona Goble has turned her attention to a larger menagerie of animals with ‘Noah’s Knits’. It’s been rather rainy recently in the southwest where the Simply Knitting office is based, so this one seems rather apt!

All the creatures come two-by-two, including Noah and his stylishly rain-caped wife. We can’t resist the tortoises, mice and giraffes, though the goats, zebras, pigs and penguins had us cooing with glee too! Oh, and talking of cooing, there’s the obligatory dove and raven too.

Online knitting superstore Deramores has teamed up with bestselling craft author Fiona Goble to give away 12 signed copies of her festive knitting book, 'Twas the Knits Before Christmas.’
