LoveWool UK returns during this year’s Wool Week – Monday 15 to Sunday 21 October 2012 – and you are cordially invited to take part!

Can you believe that it’s now four years since His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales initiated The Campaign for Wool? 

This year you can show your support by signing up online via the Campaign for Wool’s website – just click the bright pink heart of LoveWool UK.

In return for showing your support, you’ll be able to download free patterns and kits from Rowan, Jamieson & Smith and the British Wool Marketing Board.

“We had amazing support last year, with 700 separate events – on beaches, in cafes, parks, museums and knitting shops,” says Bridgette Kelly of the Campaign for Wool. “Activities ranged from knit ’n’ natters to felting and spinning displays, and sheep runs down local high streets!”

Confirmed events for 2012  include games of Lyle & Scott woolly golf, and something ‘very special ‘at Harvey Nichols. We can’t wait to see what that might be!
