Stitch & Craft 2012 begins today!

Knitted womanIt’s the first day of Stitch & Craft 2012 and we’re so excited! We’re hoping to see masses of you there, so if you do come along, drop by our area on the first floor and say hi.

There will be lots of sumptuous boutique stalls for you to get your fingers into, as well as workshops (108 in all!), talks and demonstrations, plus our knitted miniature village to admire, or, if you’ve knitted one of the featured pieces (such as the women show to the left), boast about! Bytheby, we may well be looking that frazzled by the end of the four-day stretch, so if you do pop by, please be nice!

The talented Joanna Osborne and Sally Muir, authors of the Best In Show books, are coming along too to show off their menagerie of knitted cats and dogs. We think they’re irresistible.

As well as all the knitting delights you can handle, there are all our sister publications to visit, each one showcasing a fab craft you might like to give a go, from papercraft to cross stitch.

Stitch & Craft 2012 runs until Sunday 18 March at Olympia II, London. Find out more and buy tickets at the the Stitch & Craft website.
