Simply Knitting issue 96 – Pattern Corrections

SKM96 Cover for errataThere is an error on the charts for 'Hole in One' by Mary Henderson, the Man's Tank Top on p.65 of Simply Knitting 96 (August)There should be a pattern repeat marked after 12 stitches, because your stitch count is 12 stitches + 1. So you should work stitches 1 - 12 from right to left on every RS row, and from stitches 12 - 1 from left to right on every wrong side row. Stitch 13 will be the last st on every RS row and the first st on every WS row.

There is a minor error in the yarns listed for the Hippie Hamsters pattern by Alan Dart.

For the Patchouli Hamster - the Sirdar Baby Crofter yarn shade quoted, the Lime/Aqua (now called 'Angus' ) colour, should be 163 not 168 as quoted.

We're found an error in Simply Knitting issue 96's cover project, Summer Holiday, the lacy jumper by Sarah Hatton

The pattern should have read:

Sizes 8-16 & 20-22 only

Next row K0 (3: 0: 4: 0: : 2: 1), work from row 3 of Lace Pattern A, repeating the pattern 8 (8: 9: 9: 10: : 11: 12) times in total, K0 (3: 0: 4: 0: : 2: 1).

Size 18 only

Next row K4, work from row 3 of Lace pattern B, repeating the pattern 10 times in total, K4.

All sizes

This row sets lace pattern placement. **

Now working 12 row rep as set, from chart or written instructions, cont until armhole meas 19 (19: 20: 21: 22: 22: 23: 23)cm, ending with RS facing for next row.

Lace pattern B only applies if you are knitting the size 18 version. For any other size, please continue repeating Lace Pattern A.
