We have a discovered an error in the pattern for the Party in the Park shrug that features on p.64 of Irresistible Gifts to Crochet: Volume 2.

The entire pattern has been reissued. You can download the revised Party in the Park shrug pattern here.

We've also found an error in Helen Ardley's Flower Power shawl, on page 21.

‘Next row’ has the following addition at the beginning: Next row Ss into first ch-3 sp, *5 ch, 1 dc into next ch sp; rep from * to last 5 ch sp, 3ch, 1 tr into last 5ch sp, turn.

The ‘half st’ decreased at each row end should be referred to as a ‘half space’ rather than a st. On each row, there are a number of complete ch-5 sp, and two ‘half spaces’, one at either end of the row. Each row decreases by one complete space, so there will be a total of one space less on each row, with a half space at either end.

And there's a clarification for the Juicy and Sweet pattern on page 73.

Where the pattern says ‘dec over 3 sts’, this should read ‘dec over 3 spaces’; the spaces being defined as the 3 ‘squares’ created by 3 ch-1 sp and 4 tr. This is a total of 7 sts, rather than 3.
