Ruth Strickley tells us how The Little Wool Company is marking Breast Cancer Awareness Month with their bright pink bags!

At The Little Wool Company we think Breast Cancer Awareness month is a great way to raise awareness. To show our support, all our knitting kits now come in bright pink handmade cotton bags. They made their debut at the recent Creative Stitches show in Exeter, and caused quite a stir. Some people even wanted to buy just the bags without the kits, which wasn't the idea at all!
We also have two fabulous new kits. The first is for a pair of Harmony fingerless mittens, which I have created to match the ever popular Harmony hat so that people have the option to make a matching set.
It’s named Harmony after one of our alpacas and is knitted in my own yarn, Chilla Valley Alpaca in Buttermilk.
The other new kit is the Winter Drift scarf kit which I designed to showcase my new chunky baby alpaca/shetland lambs wool blend.
If you decide to try either of the kits, or the yarns, do let me know what you think of them!
