Sally Goodwill of Little Lamb Wool gets excited by the prospect of new springtime yarns and patterns.

Is Spring here yet? It seems so as I’ve just taken delivery of the new season’s stock, from Sirdar, Sublime and Debbie Bliss. 

It’s all lovely stuff but now the hard work begins, as I need to get everything on the Little Lamb Wool website! So over the next few days I will be taking lots of photos of balls of wool, including a new line from Sirdar ‘Baby Speckles’ and lots of new shades in other lines. 

We also have lots of new patterns and because I like my customers to know the sizes and quantities for each pattern I need to populate all these details… Funny it never occurred to me that running a wool shop would involve HTML coding! (Don’t ask – all a bit technical!)

It is all very satisfying, though, to see the new things appearing on the website as I wade through adding them and then making them live. So keep an eye on Little Lamb Wool over the next few days – hopefully it won’t stretch into weeks to see the new stock appearing. 

With so many new products in store I’m finding myself daydreaming about my next knitting project too. Hmm, now what’s it going to be? Maybe that rather nice top in the Celebrating family book…
