We’re all about vibrant knits and colourful yarns at the moment, from the delicious Knitting With the Color Guys by Kaffe Fassett and Brandon Mably, to the extraordinary online yarn store of the deliciously named Fluff-a-Torium.

Recommended to us by Simply Knitting reader Tor Yeomans via our Facebook page, the Dorking-based shop, known in its online form as GillianGladRag, is truly aptly named.

Just look at gloriousness of the ‘Other Fibres’ page (pictured above), and the electic beauty of the ‘Unusual Yarns’ page (pictured left)! The whole site reminds us off a cross between a fairground, a sweet shop and a textile museum.

The shop also teaches workshops on kntting, felting and spinning, offering the chance to make the most of the yarns they sell.

If the real-world store is anything like as wonderful, we don’t know how their customers ever manage to make themselves leave!
